emagine is seeking a Medior/Senior Test Engineer for a long-term IT assignment in the insurance sector. The role involves contributing to test strategy, reviewing requirements, designing test scenarios, and executing functional, integration and UAT testing within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in software testing, insurance domain exposure, and strong Dutch, French, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in IT or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in software testing (Test Engineer or Software Tester).
• Insurance sector experience is mandatory.
• Experience with functional, manual, regression, and integration testing.

Responsabilités

• Define testing approach and translate requirements into test strategy.
• Review requirements and specs to plan testing activities.
• Design test scenarios and cases; document results.
• Execute functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
• Log, analyse, and retest defects with developers.
• Support business users during UAT and validation.
• Report testing progress and quality risks clearly.
• Plan workload and monitor testing activities.
• Improve testing processes and tools.
• Collaborate with IT and business to ensure quality.
