Ensur is a growing consultancy focused on the insurance sector in Belgium and the Netherlands. We seek a Senior Business Analyst to transform operating models, design future processes, and align business and technology architecture for insurers.

In this role you will translate strategy into operating models, analyze and optimize finance processes (potentially via automation), and support regulatory changes with client finance teams.

Business Analyst - Insurance Finance Transformation

You are an ambitious professional with a keen interest and a proven track record in insurance and finance. As one of our business consultants, you will support insurance companies realizing their ambition for operational excellence by transforming their operating model, designing state‑of‑the‑art processes and putting in place the right business and technology architecture.

As a senior consultant you will:

• Work with clients to translate strategy into an operating model
• Help clients to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness by analysing and improving business processes, for example by automation
• Assist in translating business strategy and architecture into technology strategy and architecture, and develop options for change.
• Support the finance department in integrating the impacts generated by the M&A activities of the company
• Coordinate and implement, with client finance teams, regulatory changes arising from EU directives or Belgian legislation
• Work with different stakeholders, internal and external and across functional domains.

Required Profile

• You have a passion for Insurance and for Finance
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the finance department of insurance companies as a business or process analyst
• You can demonstrate preliminary experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Bgaap, Solvency II, IFRS (17), CSRD closing and reporting processes
• Finance processes improvement or automation (Lean, RPA…)
• ERP packages or finance specific tools implementation
• Financial data management and dashboard implementation (BI tools)
• Budgeting & controlling processes or performance management,
• End‑to‑end investment activities & processes (Front‑Middle‑Back)
• Payments, Purchase to pay (P2P) or Order to Cash (OTC) processes
• AI tools for finance.
• You are proactive and result‑oriented
• You possess a professional and effective oral and written communication style
• You can work both autonomously and in group, are conscientious and creative
• You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch/French
• You like variety in your job and you are flexible
• You outperform in consulting, planning, scoping and analysis
• You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, driven and customer‑oriented
