Job summary

FMA Services is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join our E&I construction team in Belgium. You will install, connect, and maintain instrumentation in industrial settings to enhance reliability, safety and performance at client sites.

You will work with instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level, lay cables, install tubing and cross-wiring, and mount sensors and PLCs. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Read electrical and instrumentation diagrams.
• Diploma in instrumentation/electricity or 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Safety is a priority; VCA certificate is a plus.
• You work independently and as part of a team.
• You are solution-oriented, precise and proactive.
• Basic knowledge of English is not a problem.
• Flexible, eager to learn and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect instrumentation in industrial environments.
• Lay and connect instrument cables.
• Install and connect tubing (instrument air).
• Lay and connect cross-wiring.
• Mount electrical and instrumentation components (sensors, PLCs, photocells, junction boxes, switches).
• Install and finish cable trays according to schematics.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Provide the right materials to work safely and efficiently.
