itsme® is seeking an Innovation Manager in Belgium to drive market sensing, strategy alignment, and adjacent value propositions in collaboration with Product, Revenue, and partners. You will own the exploration funnel, validate bets with customers, and work with an Innovation Architect and Service Designer to cover ecosystem, tech, and design angles.

The role requires 5+ years in innovation/strategy/product roles under uncertainty, a hypothesis-driven mindset, and fluency in English with Dutch

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in innovation management, venture building, strategy or product roles under real market uncertainty.
• Hypothesis-driven and comfortable being wrong in public, learn a bet quickly.
• Ability to assess market potential and right-to-win: sizing opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Commercial mindset with design-led thinking and enough technical fluency to work with architects and tech profiles.
• Build working relationships across internal and external stakeholders and involve sceptical voices early.
• Structured discovery and validation supported by service design and lean methods.
• Prior exposure to digital identity and signing (eIDAS, QES, EUDI Wallet) is a strong plus.
• Languages: English full proficiency and native in Dutch or French.

Responsabilités

• Keep an outward-looking view through market and regulatory monitoring, conferences and expert communities, turning it into a standing point of view on strategic themes.
• Build a base of domain knowledge on your theme, cross-referenced with Revenue's sector intelligence, for wider reuse.
• Own the exploration funnel for your strategic theme: identify, frame and qualify potential bets.
• Team up with Product Managers to scout adjacent value propositions and qualify bets.
• Build the case for each bet on market potential and right-to-win, validated through customer conversations and PoCs.
• Partner with an Innovation Architect and a Service Designer on every bet to cover ecosystem, tech and design angles.
• Iterate or kill bets based on validation, documenting why weak bets stop.
• Package qualified propositions for the Innovation Committee and refine with Product Management.
