Deze international is a global plastics producer in the Aalst region, seeking an Injection Moulding Technician. You will safely change moulds, start up machines and optimize the full injection moulding process to support production efficiency.

You will operate in a two-shift system, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with operators to maintain optimal output and material flow. A technical degree and hands-on plastics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification (A2, Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in an injection moulding environment.
• Knowledge of starting up, setting and adjusting injection moulding machines.
• Experience with mould changes.
• Knowledge of plastics processing, process parameters and quality control.
• Experience with 2K injection moulding is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of ABB robots or industrial automation is a plus.
• Experience operating an overhead crane, forklift or electric pallet truck. Relevant certificates are an advantage.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• A solution-oriented and proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills and a genuine team spirit.
• A strong sense of responsibility and a strong focus on safety and quality

Responsabilités

• Carrying out mould changes according to the production schedule.
• Preparing mould changes and gathering all required materials.
• Safely dismantling, installing and adjusting moulds.
• Starting up, setting and releasing production.
• Setting and monitoring injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitoring and optimizing the complete injection moulding process.
• Analyzing and resolving first-line technical issues involving machines and moulds.
• Performing quality checks and reporting deviations.
• Supporting and guiding operators during production.
• Ensuring correct supply of raw materials and monitoring regrind material.
• Contributing to process improvements and reducing downtime.
• Working according to safety, quality and environmental standards.
