Deze international in the Aalst region seeks an Injection Moulding Technician to safely change moulds, startup machines, and optimize the entire injection moulding process. The role operates in a two-shift system: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.

You will carry out mould changes, prepare materials, and ensure machines run efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Growth opportunities exist within a stable automotive plastics environment.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification (A2, Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in an injection moulding environment.
• Knowledge of starting up, setting and adjusting injection moulding machines.
• Experience with mould changes.
• Knowledge of plastics processing and quality control.

Responsabilités

• Carry out mould changes according to the production schedule.
• Prepare mould changes and gather required materials.
• Safely dismantle, install and adjust moulds.
• Start up, set and release production correctly.
• Set and monitor injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor and optimize the complete injection moulding process.
• Analyse and resolve first-line technical issues with machines and moulds.
• Perform quality checks and report deviations promptly.
• Support and guide operators during production.
• Ensure supply of raw materials and monitor regrind material.
• Contribute to process improvements and reduce downtime.
