Group-IPS is seeking an experienced MEP Package Lead for our Nivelles office in Belgium. You will collaborate across disciplines to achieve seamless MEP integration, supervise installation and commissioning, and ensure compliance with local and international codes and safety standards.

The role requires an engineering degree and 3+ years of MEP leadership experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT MEP, HAP, and Aproplan. Travel within Belgium and possibly abroad is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electro-Mechanics, Electrical or Mechanical.
• 3+ years as responsible for MEP projects or MEP package lead; 5+ years total experience.
• Strong understanding of building systems design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electrical circuits and lighting controls.
• Experience with Data Center or similar critical projects is an asset.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, HAP, AutoCAD, REVIT MEP and Aproplan.

Responsabilités

Now, we are looking for a MEP Package Lead in our office in Nivelles, Belgium.

As a MEP Package Lead In IPS, you will be Collaborating with other engineering disciplines involved in the project to achieve seamless integration and coordination. The MEP Package Lead works closely with the various engineering teams to ensure that all systems work harmoniously together and meet the project's overall objectives.

What is the role About?

• MEP Package lead- with expertise in implementation projects and commissioning.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, sanitation, fire protection, and other related systems.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure proper integration of MEP systems within the overall project.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of systems, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes, as well as safety and energy efficiency standards.
• Prepare and coordinate cost estimates, technical drawings, and specifications, using tools such as project management software to document and coordinate work and Autodesk platform.
• Inspect and analyze technical issues, propose solutions, and make design adjustments based on real site conditions.
• Coordinate and supervise technical teams and contractors responsible for executing MEP systems.
• Reporting to Project Managers and contractors.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed on-site and assist in preparing documentation for permits and licenses.

Requirements

• You have an engineering degree in Electro-Mechanics, Electrical or Mechanical with a minimum of 3 years as responsible for MEP projects or MEP package lead. More than 5 years total experience.
• Strong understanding of building systems design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electrical circuits, and lighting controls
• Data Center or similar critical mission projects experience is an asset.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch. French is an asset.
• Expertise on other building utilities (fire protection and HVAC) are a plus.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, HAP, AutoCAD (REVIT MEP is a plus), Aproplan and any other Management tools.
• You are flexible to visit sites in Belgium and possibly other countries.
• You are able and willing to take initiative, and you are also a team player. You are rigorous, anticipative and stress resistant.
