Auxo Talent is seeking an Infrastructure Technical Lead for a fully remote EU role. The position focuses on operating and securing bare-metal and dedicated hosting infrastructure, leading a global cyber threat intelligence team.

You will administer Ubuntu systems, manage colocation infrastructure, and automate provisioning with Ansible. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on contributions across networking, security, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Dedicated hosting experience with providers like Hetzner/OVH or colocation environments.
• Strong routing, DNS, firewall and VPN troubleshooting skills.
• Physical server operations and hardware fault diagnosis.
• Scripting, Ansible and infrastructure observability experience.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, CoreDNS/Cloudflare and Go.
• Encryption, PKI, key rotation and certificate lifecycle management.
• SOPS, OpenBao/Vault and ISO 27001 or SOC 2 experience.

Day Rate: Up to €525/day

Duration: 15 months

My client is looking for an Infrastructure Technical Lead for a global cyber threat intelligence organisation’s team. This focus on operating and securing bare-metal and dedicated hosting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer production Ubuntu systems and troubleshoot networking and hardware issues.
• Manage dedicated hosting or colocation infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and maintenance using scripts and Ansible.
• Improve monitoring, logging, patching, access controls and secrets handling.
• Translate compliance requirements into practical infrastructure changes.
• Technical Lead: guide technical decisions and support engineers while remaining hands-on.

Requirements:

• Dedicated hosting experience, such as Hetzner/OVH, or colocation environments.
• Strong routing, DNS, firewall and VPN troubleshooting skills.
• Physical server operations and hardware fault diagnosis.
• Scripting, Ansible and infrastructure observability experience.
• ZFS, WireGuard, KVM/QEMU, Podman, Grafana/ELK or VictoriaMetrics.
• Terraform, Kubernetes, CoreDNS/Cloudflare and familiarity with Go.
• Encryption, PKI, key rotation and certificate lifecycle management.
• SOPS, OpenBao/Vault and ISO 27001 or SOC 2 experience.
• Experience operating hundreds of hosts.
