UNILIN is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to manage core infrastructure services with a strong focus on Windows-based platforms, virtualization, and DDI services. You will provide advanced 3rd line support, optimize systems, and drive automation and security improvements across a multinational environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT teams, SOX-compliant processes, and high-quality documentation, while offering a hybrid work arrangement and training opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Experience in multi-site, international environments.
• Strong experience with Windows Server platforms, VMware & DDI services (Infoblox).
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
• Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds) & automation/scripting.
• Experience supporting Directory, PKI & Certificate Services.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proactive mindset with continuous improvement focus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Provide 3rd line support for backend infrastructure services with advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability across distributed environments.
• Design, implement and improve infrastructure services.
• Build and maintain automation scripts and deployment processes.
• Design, maintain and execute standardized patch baselines.
• Maintain and enhance FTP environments.
• Collaborate with internal & cross-functional IT teams.
• Act as a technical escalation point.
• Support cross-regional initiatives.
• Contribute to SOX-compliant processes through proper administration and documentation.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and standards.
• Propose and implement operational, performance, and security improvements.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise policies, standards, and best practices.
