Editx in Belgium is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's network across the head office and about 100 remote sites. You will ensure reliable connectivity, sound security, and scalable solutions.

You will support the helpdesk on complex issues, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with software teams. A 24/7 on-call rotation is part of the role to guarantee operational continuity, with opportunities to stay

Overview

Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a team responsible for the implementation, maintenance, support, and administration of the network infrastructure across the head office and approximately 100 remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and administer the organization network infrastructure, including network hardware, servers, PCs, printers, peripherals, and foundational software.
• Support the helpdesk on complex technical issues and provide advanced assistance to end users.
• Monitor system performance, conduct tuning activities, and ensure the stability and reliability of all network and server environments.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to guarantee operational continuity.
• Collaborate with software development teams and intervene on existing applications when needed.
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices and helping them develop technical skills.
• Analyze technical needs and contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of new technical solutions.
• Ensure the security, resilience, and scalability of the IT infrastructure across all sites.
• Stay up to date with relevant technologies and propose improvements to enhance the IT landscape.
