Tergos is expanding its local IT team near Leuven, Belgium, to strengthen site-level and global infrastructure initiatives. You will join a small, autonomous local team and contribute hands-on to monitoring and MDM rollouts while taking on project ownership.

You will manage Windows and Linux environments, virtualization, backups, network infra, and Microsoft 365 services. Fluency in English and Dutch is required, French is a strong asset, and limited home-working is possible after six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory), Linux, virtualization, and scripting.
• Autonomous, customer-oriented, and able to drive projects.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, backup, and network infra.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID) and MDM (Intune).
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects including monitoring and MDM rollouts.
• Provide Level 2/3 support to back up the Service Desk on infra incidents (~15-20%).

Our client operates a manufacturing site near Leuven and is now expanding its local IT team to support both site-level and global infrastructure initiatives. You'll join a small, autonomous local team, working closely with a compact but highly international IT department. This is a hands‑on infrastructure role for someone who wants to combine technical with project ownership, contributing to initiatives like global monitoring and MDM rollouts.

The Role

• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, virtualization platforms (VMware/Proxmox), backup and disaster recovery (e.g. Veeam), and network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, VPN).
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID) and MDM solutions (Intune), including identity and access management.
• Drive infrastructure and optimization projects end‑to‑end, including active involvement in the ongoing monitoring and MDM rollouts.
• Provide Level 2/3 support (roughly 15-20% of your time) to back up the Service Desk on infrastructure‑related incidents.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory), Linux, virtualization, and scripting (PowerShell/Python).
• Autonomous, customer‑oriented, and comfortable formalizing processes and driving projects.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong asset.

Offer

You’ll join a highly international environment (a large share of activities span global projects) while working from a local, stable site close to Leuven. Limited home‑working is possible after an initial 6‑month period. Compensation package to be discussed based on experience and rate expectations and a car is included.
