Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for an automotive client to join the IT Operations team on a 12-month contract, supporting infrastructure operations across a complex multi-site environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, ensuring availability and security, delivering infrastructure for projects (VMs, databases, networking, backups) and providing 2nd/3rd line support across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience in complex multi-site/datacentre environments.
• Fluent French and English (Dutch is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the company's IT infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, security and performance of systems.
• Deliver infrastructure for business projects (VMs, databases, networking, backups).
• Support infrastructure migration initiatives.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line infrastructure support.

Technical Skills

• VMware / Nutanix
• Active Directory & Group Policy
• Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB or MongoDB
• Veeam / HYCU Backup

Nice to have:

SD-WAN, Firewalls, NetScaler, Centreon, ELK.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience in complex multi-site/datacentre environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Fluent French and English (Dutch is a plus).
