CareerBee on behalf of our client seeks a Camera Production / Manufacturing Engineer in Tienen, Belgium to help scale up infrared camera manufacturing. You will act as the technical point of contact for camera production, troubleshoot challenges, drive yield and throughput improvements, and transfer new products from R&D into production while collaborating with Operations, R&D and Quality teams.

This is a hands-on role with substantial visibility, offering the opportunity to influence product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Production Engineering or Industrialization.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and Dutch or willingness to learn Dutch.
• Hands-on, proactive mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Act as the technical point of contact for manufacturing and assembly‑related issues in camera production.
• Troubleshoot production challenges, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Drive improvements in yield, throughput, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support transfer of new camera products from R&D into production and help ensure manufacturable designs.
• Contribute to scaling of production lines, testing stations and processes as volumes grow.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Quality and Production teams to improve performance.
• Use data analysis and Python‑based tools to support process optimization and automation initiatives.
