Fortegra Europe Insurance Company Ltd is seeking a Security Engineer to safeguard data confidentiality, integrity, and availability across on‑prem, cloud, and SaaS. You will lead security tooling operations, drive incident response, and embed security in the SDLC, including AI technologies.

Qualifications include a CS/Info Security degree or equivalent, 4+ years in security, and hands‑on experience with cloud security, vulnerability management, and CI/CD security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years in information security or security engineering role.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience securing major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and remediation.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and tune security solutions (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, DLP, CSPM).
• Lead investigations into security incidents including triage, containment, and recovery.
• Develop detections aligned to MITRE ATT&CK and threat models.
• Conduct tabletop exercises and incident drills annually.
• Maintain runbooks for cloud, identity, ransomware, and AI/LLM incidents.
• Design and review security controls across cloud environments (IAM, encryption, logging).
