Job summary

Bimona is seeking a highly experienced Security Architect to define and secure both IT and OT environments from design through deployment in Brussels. You will implement Zero Trust and Security by Design across initiatives and drive alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of expert-level security experience.
• Dutch or French at C1 level, English at B2 level.
• At least 2 years of IT/OT cybersecurity and secure architecture experience.
• ≥5 years with Zero Trust and Security by Design principles.
• Experience with NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, CIS and NIST frameworks.
• Cloud environments, networks, systems and critical infrastructure.
• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 expertise.
• Microsoft Defender: XDR, Endpoint, Cloud, Identity and Office 365.
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate the IT/OT security architecture.
• Apply Security by Design and Zero Trust principles across projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure architecture complies with NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443 and other standards.
• Guide project teams in implementing cybersecurity requirements.

An organisation operating critical infrastructure is looking for a full-time Security Architect specialising in IT and OT security. You will define how these environments are secured and ensure that projects comply with the established security architecture and requirements. You have over 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft security solutions, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID and Purview.

• Design, develop and validate the IT/OT security architecture.
• Apply Security by Design and Zero Trust principles across ongoing projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify technical vulnerabilities.
• Ensure the architecture complies with NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443 and other applicable standards.
• Guide project teams in implementing cybersecurity requirements.
• Assess solutions and suppliers in terms of security and resilience.
• Contribute to cybersecurity governance and the continuous improvement of the organisation's security posture.

Profiel

• Over 10 years of experience at expert level.
• Dutch or French at C1 level, and English at B2 level (comprehension, reading and writing).
• At least 2 years of experience in IT/OT cybersecurity and secure architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience with:
