Degetel, a human-sized IT consultancy, is seeking a Network Engineer to join a key client project in Belgium. You will monitor network performance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and manage cabling while ensuring high availability, performance and security across enterprise and industrial environments.

Candidates should have 5–10 years in industrial environments, VCA certification, and fluency in English, French and Dutch.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in industrial environments, with VCA certification.
• Proven expertise in Fortinet, routing and switching, and enterprise Wi‑Fi.
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Monitor network performance across enterprise and industrial environments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage cabling, including identification of UTP cables.
• Ensure high availability, performance and security across environments.

What you bring

• 5-10 years of experience in industrial environments (+ VCA certification)
• Technical expertise :
• -Fortinet
• -Routing & switching BGP, OSPF, VRF
• -Enterprise grade Wifi environments
• -Certified and experienced in Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA)
• -DCS Networks
• Fluent in English + French AND Dutch
