Amaris Consulting in Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize data solutions that turn manufacturing data into insights and support business decisions. You will build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, work with SAP data, and contribute to data modelling and analytics with Databricks and Azure Synapse.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong experience with Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, pipelines and modelling.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data flows using modern data platforms.
• Work with SAP and other data sources for reliable data extraction and integration.
• Develop scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, IT and business stakeholders.
• Support Power BI reporting with reliable, well-structured data.
• Troubleshoot data issues and continuously improve data quality, performance and scalability.
• Contribute to data engineering standards, documentation and governance.
