Abakus IT-Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join an innovative Digital & Data environment in Brussels, contributing to projects supporting the energy transition and data-driven decision making. You will design data pipelines and enrichments, work with SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Functions and DevOps, and develop in Python.

You will collaborate with Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, with a strong emphasis on data

Qualifications

3–5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
Experience with two or more of the listed areas: SQL Server, Azure Data Engineering, Python/Databricks, modern data technologies.
Fluent English; German, French or Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

Design and develop data pipelines and data solutions.
Work with SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure DevOps.
Develop data pipelines and enrichments using Python and Databricks.
Contribute to data quality, governance, lineage and documentation.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
Contribute to testing, DevOps practices and continuous improvement.
Explore new technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j or Apache Arrow.
