Amaris Consulting in Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize data solutions turning manufacturing data into reliable insights that support business decisions. You will build data ingestion pipelines, integrate SAP data, and support Power BI reporting while collaborating with data analysts, BI teams, IT, and stakeholders.

3–6 years of experience and a Master’s degree are required. Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong experience with Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, data pipelines, and data modelling.
• Good understanding of SAP data and structures.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data flows using modern data platforms.
• Work with SAP and other data sources to ensure reliable data extraction and integration.
• Develop scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support Power BI reporting by providing reliable and well-structured data.
• Troubleshoot data issues and continuously improve data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to data engineering standards, documentation, and governance.
