Joris Ide seeks a Controls Engineer to strengthen our electrical and software improvements across production lines. You will support or lead projects on insulated panel lines, deploy process improvements, and design/testing tasks aligned with Kingspan standards. Travel up to 25% across Europe is required.

The role emphasizes hands-on, analytical problem-solving, collaboration with local teams, and continuous skill development in a dynamic, environmentally conscious company.

Qualifications

• Strong background in controls engineering with Siemens TIA knowledge.
• Experience with PLC and motion control.
• Knowledge of SCADA, SQL, AWS and SAP databases.
• Willing to travel up to 25% within Europe to internal Joris Ide sites.
• Independent but able to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks assigned by the Group Senior Controls Engineer.
• Provide software and electrical engineering input to divisional project and design teams.
• Produce electrical engineering designs and project deliverables per Kingspan standards.
• Proactively identify and support value-added improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety and Controls to meet plant priorities.
• Represent the Controls department in meetings and contribute technically.
