Reynaers Aluminium, a global leader in aluminium building components, seeks an ERP Software Developer to strengthen the ICT ERP team. You will translate functional needs into high-quality software, develop, test, document, and contribute to optimisation efforts in an international setting.

Based at Reynaers Campus in Duffel, you will collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders across subsidiaries, and may travel to foreign units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ICT.
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer or similar role.
• Strong interest in ERP software and complex business processes.
• Experience with Progress OpenEdge.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.

• Help build applications that support and improve operational flow.
• Perform initial testing on own developments and ensure quality.

ERP Software Developer

As an ERP Software Developer, you will be part of our ICT ERP team and help build systems that support the operational processes of Reynaers Group worldwide. Thanks to your technical expertise, our flows continue to run efficiently, performantly, and with a future-oriented focus.

Based on analyses from our business analysts, you translate functional needs into high-quality and sustainable software solutions. You program, test, document, and actively contribute ideas for optimisation. You work in an international context and occasionally have contact with or travel to foreign subsidiaries.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain the programming code of our ERP system
• Translate functional analyses into high-performing and stable software solutions
• Help build applications that support and improve the operational flow of Reynaers Group
• Perform initial testing on your own developments and safeguard quality
• Document your work clearly and in a structured manner
• Contribute ideas regarding performance, continuity, and further optimisation of the ERP landscape
• Support the service desk with second-line support for ERP-related questions or incidents
• Work closely with business analysts, fellow developers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in projects and implementations in an international environment
• Be willing to occasionally visit foreign subsidiaries

Who are you?

• You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in ICT
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a software developer or in a similar role
• You have a strong interest in ERP software and complex business processes
• You have experience with Progress OpenEdge
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of French is an additional asset
• You enjoy collaboration and take ownership
• You perform strongly both independently and as part of a team
• You plan your work efficiently and proactively monitor deadlines
• You work accurately, in a structured way, and with a solution-oriented mindset
• You enjoy delivering high-quality code with impact
