Haerens Group, a fast-growing Belgian group, seeks a Business Application Manager to lead lifecycle management of CRM/ERP/BI solutions across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders, optimize processes, and drive cloud-based improvements in a multilingual, industrial manufacturing context.

You will design, implement, and govern core business software, ensuring availability and performance while managing vendors and licenses.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science or equivalent through experience.
• You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
• You understand and analyse business requests, and translate them into reliable, scalable solutions.
• You have proven experience in BPM (Business Process Modelling).
• You have proven work experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform and cloud technologies.

Responsabilités

• Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade our business software applications (CRM, ERP, reporting).
• Act as a key stakeholder in upgrading Dynamics 365 and Microsoft BI stack.
• Ensure business software aligns with stakeholders and drives efficiency.
• Provide high-level support, analyze issues, and ensure high availability and performance.
• Create and enforce standards, security, data integrity, and user documentation.
• Manage vendors and budget for licenses and support.

The Haerens group is a fast-growing family business, active in high-tech fire and security doors, international museum installations and high-tech glass under the brands Eribel, Meyvaert, Vitrotec and GMC Haerens. Our team consists of more than 450 dedicated employees, 3 production sites in Belgium and multiple hubs/production sites abroad (UK; France, Romania, Spain, Poland).

Business Application Manager

Responsibilities

Application Lifecycle Management:

• Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade our business software applications in the fields of CRM, ERP and Business Reporting (cloud based).
• Act as a key stakeholder in our business software upgrade projects:
• Legacy CRM applications to Dynamics 365 Sales
• Legacy ERP applications to Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Legacy Business Reporting applications to Microsoft Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Power BI.

Strategic Alignment:Work with stakeholders and external partners to ensure that our stack of business software enhances business efficiency.

Support & Troubleshooting:Provide high-level technical support, analyse system malfunctions, and ensuring high availability and performance.

Governance & Documentation:

• Create and enforce application standards, security protocols, data integrity checks, and user documentation.
• Design, maintain and document our core business processes in collaboration with the different business entities and ensure that the business software support these processes.

Vendor Management: Manage vendors relationship, and follow-up the budget for software licenses and support.

Software Asset Management (SAM): Build and maintain the comprehensive list of business application software and its related items (users, roles, licenses, etc.).

Profile

Professional profile & background

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science or equivalent through experience.
• You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
• You are able to understand and analyse business requests, provide conceptual solutions and turn them into reliable, scalable solutions for all users.
• You have proven experience in BPM (Business Process Modelling).
• You have proven relevant work experience(s) with some of the following technologies:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents).

Microsoft Cloud Technology (especially Azure).

Microsoft SQL Server.

CAD / CAM software.

Product Configuration software / Configure Price Quote (CPQ).

• You have proven work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• You are fluent in English and have a very good professional knowledge of Dutch and French (spoken and written).
