Job summary

OneSource Consulting seeks an experienced IBM i RPG/ILE Developer to support Wynne RentalMan ERP across multiple international markets. The role focuses on backend logic, integrations with Web Services, XML, and MQ Series, and ongoing deployment governance.

You will contribute to international rollouts including E-invoicing, align with country-specific financial flows, and work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence 2–3 days per week. Fluency in English and a ICT/Economics degree are required.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in RPG/ILE and CL programming on IBM i (AS/400).
• Hands-on experience with RPG embedded SQL, SQL/400, DB2/400 and Printer Files.
• Experience interfacing ERP systems with third-party applications via Web Services, XML, MQ Series.
• Working knowledge of Aldon (or similar change management/deployment tooling).
• Fluent in English; Bachelor or Master in ICT, Economics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

About the Project

• To support the international growth and ambitious global ERP rollout within Atlas Copco, we are scaling our engineering capacity. We are actively expanding and tailoring their core ERP platform, Wynne RentalMan, across multiple international markets.
• We are currently working toward an important milestone with go-lives in the United Arab Emirates, Norway, Italy, and Germany, followed by several additional country onboardings throughout 2027. We are looking for an experienced IBM i / RPG Developer to hit the ground running, help meet these deadlines, and deliver robust ERP solutions.

Your Role

In this role, you will be a key contributor to our ERP engineering and integration efforts:

• Design, build, and optimize backend business logic using RPG/ILE, CL, and DB2/400.
• Develop and maintain integrations between RentalMan and external systems via Web Services, XML, and messaging middleware (MQ Series-like tech).
• Support international country rollouts, including specific local compliance and financial flows such as E-invoicing.
• Ensure smooth version control and deployments using Aldon (Change Management).
• Oversee end-to-end application lifecycle management, from technical design to testing and deployment.

Who We Are Looking For

Must-Haves:

• Technical Core: Proven expertise in RPG/ILE and CL programming on IBM i (AS/400).
• Database & Querying: Hands-on experience with (RPG embedded) SQL, SQL/400, DB2/400, and Printer Files.
• Integrations: Solid track record in interfacing ERP systems with third-party applications (Web Services, XML, MQ Series / messaging tech).
• Change Management: Working knowledge of Aldon (or similar change management / deployment tooling).
• Language & Education: Fluent in English (written & spoken). You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Economics, or equivalent through practical experience.

Valuable Assets:

• Hands-on experience with Wynne Systems RentalMan ERP (or comparable equipment rental / asset management ERP).
• Direct experience with E-invoicing implementations across European and international tax frameworks.
• Broad understanding of diverse business processes (rental logistics, supply chain, finance, asset tracking).
