Qargo is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join the Ghent team. You will design, build, and evolve our web-based frontend, focusing on rich, fast, and usable interfaces for logistics professionals.

You’ll work with React, GraphQL (Apollo), and modern tooling to deliver scalable frontend solutions. This role offers ownership, collaboration with product and design, and a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT/CS/Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of frontend development experience.
• Ability to design scalable software solutions with pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn and experiment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Develop frontend of the web-based platform used by thousands of logistics professionals across Europe.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and designers.
• Build rich, responsive interfaces including drag-and-drop planning screens, maps, and editors.
• Optimize performance and implement best practices for smooth user experiences.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and UX decisions to influence platform direction.
• Help improve productivity, onboarding speed, and customer satisfaction.
