Toyota Motor Europe is seeking Electronics or Software Engineers to develop, test, and validate connected multimedia and navigation systems for future vehicles. The role covers ECU development, software validation, HIL and vehicle testing, with strong project coordination and collaboration with suppliers and global teams.

Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and knowledge of embedded systems, communication protocols, software development, and AI/connected services.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (TME business language)
• Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics/Systems or Computer Science)
• Strong interest in electronics and automotive systems
• Experience in automotive/electronics design or validation is a plus
• Good planning, organizational and reporting skills
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G/LTE in automotive contexts
• Awareness of AI and connected services is desirable
• Willingness to travel and possess a valid driving license (B)

Responsabilités

• Lead production Head Unit development, evaluation, and validation across development to production release.
• Design, develop and test vehicle ECUs (SW and HW) throughout development phases.
• Define and run evaluation tests for MIL, SIL, HIL bench and in-vehicle tests.
• Document issues and drive countermeasures through resolution.
• Develop and maintain tools and processes enabling HIL bench and in-vehicle validation.
• Support field quality monitoring and issue investigations.
• Monitor latest multimedia, navigation, HMI, and cloud interfaces for Europe.
• Draft technical proposals and translate into requirements and specs.
• Support ideation and development of new features and connected services.
• Coordinate project schedules with suppliers and Toyota affiliates; report status to management.
