Verhaert | On-site Consulting in Winterslag, Belgium is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development, integration and maintenance of embedded software for electrified transmission systems. You will collaborate with System Engineering, Application Software, Verification & Validation to deliver robust, safe software solutions and ensure compliance with AUTOSAR and ASPICE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software development.
• Proven experience with Classic AUTOSAR-based software development.
• Hands-on experience with Classic AUTOSAR module configuration, integration and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and software design principles.
• Experience in an ASPICE-compliant development environment.
• Experience with multicore ECU architectures.
• Good understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsabilités

• Specify, design, implement and document software functionalities.
• Develop new software and maintain embedded software platforms.
• Configure, integrate and maintain Classic AUTOSAR modules.
• Collaborate with System and Application Software teams to solve technical challenges.
• Support software integration and debugging activities.
• Work with Verification & Validation teams to define test specs and develop test cases.
• Diagnose and resolve software-level issues.
• Maintain technical documentation throughout development lifecycle.
• Contribute to software quality, safety and compliance.
