Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking freelance C++ Developers for a 12-month project in chip manufacturing technology. The role is on-site three days per week with remote work the remaining days, starting December or January, and may extend.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in modern and advanced C++.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Python, used for testing.
• Object-oriented design.
• Git.
• Experience developing on Windows.
• Fluent English.
• Medior or senior level experience.
• Availability to work on site in Leuven 3 days per week.
• Availability to start in December or January.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the application for the handling platform, mainly in modern C++.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Python.
• Contribute to limited development work in C# where needed.
• Take part in Scrum activities, including daily syncs with the team.
• Work closely with systems engineering to turn requirements into well-structured software.
• Use AI-assisted tools to support design, coding and development testing.
• Apply object-oriented design principles to keep the codebase clear and maintainable.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, and JIRA and TeamCity for tracking and CI/CD.
• Travel internationally when the project requires it.
