OTIV, a Ghent-based leader in autonomous rail technologies, seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to advance ADAS software including collision avoidance, sensor fusion, and calibration. You will design, implement, and validate real-time perception and decision systems in C++/Rust, merging ML with traditional CV approaches.

You will collaborate with ML, data, and software teams, and work within a flexible hybrid setup at our Ghent office.

Qualifications

• Master's in computer engineering, robotics, or mathematics.
• Proven robotics software development experience in C++/Rust.
• Experience with real-time perception and control software.

Responsabilités

• Algorithm design, implementation and testing for ADAS-related software.
• System-level testing and validation of real-time components.
• Proof-of-concept in Python/C++/Rust; production-ready in C++/Rust.
• Integrate ML-based and rule-based perception and control approaches.
• Collaborate with ML, data and software engineers; stay updated on ADAS advances.
