Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Project Lead Substations in Belgium to drive high‑voltage infrastructure initiatives from concept to close‑out. The role involves leading HV projects across 380kV to 36kV, coordinating design, studies, procurement, and site execution with a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electromechanical engineering, fluency in French (Dutch a plus), and strong project management and stakeholder skills. Energy transition expertise is valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent through experience).
• Fluent French is required.
• Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.
• Interest in energy sector and energy transition projects.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from concept and definition through execution and final close-out.
• Participating in technical studies, engineering design, and project development.
• Performing calculations and supporting technical decision-making.
• Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
• Preparing tender documentation and supporting procurement activities.
• Leading and coordinating site execution activities.
• Managing contractors, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring effective reporting.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
