Aliaxis is seeking a Head of Strategy to lead the Horizon 2030 ambition and guide the strategy function across the Group and local divisions. You will partner with the Executive Committee and Board to shape enterprise strategy and support growth initiatives in a global, matrix organisation.

The role requires a seasoned leader with 10–15 years in strategy, preferably with an engineering background and strong transformation experience across industrial sectors. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in strategy at senior level, incl. consulting or in-house
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred; business/economics considered
• Proven track record leading complex strategic initiatives and enterprise transformation
• Experience with matrix/global environments and travel

In this global role, you will lead the Strategy team and work closely with the Executive Committee and Board to define enterprise strategy and support Aliaxis’ divisions in building winning local strategies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Group CEO / MD, you will drive enterprise strategy, partner with the Executive Committee, and support the Group and local divisions in delivering market success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define & track Aliaxis’ enterprise strategy, including leading strategic reviews with the Executive Committee & Board.
• Drive the M&A agenda: assess the existing portfolio, identify divestment opportunities, build actionable M&A pipelines at group and divisional levels.
• Deliver high‑impact strategic projects for both business units & functions critical to deliver the strategy (market entry, growth opportunities, business unit transformation. Identify opportunities with strategic impact – cultivate a pipeline of projects by staying close to the businesses / functions, assessing their situation outside‑in and proposing projects that could deliver significant value
• Provide actionable market intelligence to the Executive Committee & Board, covering competitors, customers, market trends, and performance benchmarking.
• Coordinate and develop the corporate strategy team, fostering high performance and talent growth, positioning the strategy team as a talent pipeline for the Group.

ABOUT YOU

• 10-15 years of experience, including experience at Manager level or above in a top-tier management consulting firm. Additional in-house experience leading strategy development and execution within an industrial, manufacturing, or related sector is a strong asset.
• Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred. Degree in Business, Economics, or related fields can also be considered.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex strategic initiatives (BU transformation, operating model/process optimization, market and competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, portfolio management...). Experience acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite and Board‑level stakeholders, influencing strategic decision‑making, and driving enterprise‑wide transformation.
• Experience managing high‑performing teams, with a focus on talent development and coaching.
• Experience working in global, matrix, and multicultural environments, with willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
