Aliaxis is seeking a Head of Group Strategy to lead the Horizon 2030 ambition and shape future growth. You will head the Strategy team, partner with the Executive Committee and Board, and drive enterprise strategy while supporting divisions in delivering local strategies across a global footprint.

The role requires leading end-to-end strategy development, extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement, and a track record of delivering complex strategic initiatives in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering is required with interest in industrial/manufacturing.

We are looking for our future Head of Group Strategy to lead the execution of our Horizon 2030 ambition and shape our future growth. In this global role, you will lead the Strategy team and work closely with the Executive Committee and Board to define enterprise strategy and support Aliaxis’ divisions in building winning local strategies.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group CEO / MD, you will drive enterprise strategy, partner with the Executive Committee, and support the Group and local divisions in delivering market success.

What You Will Do

• Define & track Aliaxis’ enterprise strategy, including leading strategic reviews with the Executive Committee & Board.
• Drive the M&A agenda: assess the existing portfolio, identify divestment opportunities, build actionable M&A pipelines at group and divisional levels.
• Deliver high-impact strategic projects for both business units & functions critical to deliver the strategy (market entry, growth opportunities, business unit transformation.
• Identify opportunities with strategic impact – cultivate a pipeline of projects by staying close to the businesses / functions, assessing their situation outside-in and proposing projects that could deliver significant value
• Provide actionable market intelligence to the Executive Committee & Board, covering competitors, customers, market trends, and performance benchmarking.
• Coordinate and develop the corporate strategy team, fostering high performance and talent growth, positioning the strategy team as a talent pipeline for the Group

About You

• Manager-level or higher experience in a top-tier management consulting firm is required.
• Experience leading end-to-end strategy development and execution within an industrial, manufacturing or related sector is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Engineering is required (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field), with demonstrated interest in or experience with industrial and manufacturing businesses.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex strategic initiatives (e.g. BU transformation, operating model/process optimization, market and competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, portfolio management...).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholders’ management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels, including C-suite executives and Board-level audiences.
• Experience in managing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching talents.
• Strong drive, proactivity, and ability to deliver impact in fast-paced, complex environments.
• Experience working in large, multinational organizations and multicultural environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
