Job summary

Alstom seeks a Senior Engineering Leader to head a team within the Service department, delivering on ambitious QCD commitments. You will staff the team, drive program strategy, and propagate best practices across Alstom-wide initiatives.

The role focuses on service readiness, SLAs, obsolescence management, and maintenance trainings, reporting to the Service Department Head. You will develop golden rules for efficient workshare, coach resources, and ensure data credibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or science required.
• Strong leadership and project management experience expected.
• Proven ability to develop and implement governance, metrics and processes.

Responsibilities

• Agree and implement department guidelines with head and peers.
• Develop and maintain competences; coach the team toward world-class engineering.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to business growth across programs.
• Support reverse engineering activities when needed.
• Set clear team goals, delegate tasks and meet deadlines.
• Lead management reviews and define group strategy with stakeholders.
