Job summary

Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a Head of IT for a leading banking institution in Luxembourg. You will define and strengthen the local technology governance, align with business strategy, and drive ICT risk management and regulatory compliance.

You will lead governance bodies, report to senior management, oversee regulatory interactions including CSSF, and drive DORA and digital resilience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong background in technology governance, ICT risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in banking or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with CSSF/Luxembourg regulatory requirements and audits.

Responsibilities

• Define and strengthen local technology governance framework aligned with business strategy.
• Lead governance committees, KPIs, KRIs and reporting to senior management.
• Coordinate regulatory responses, inspections, reviews and remediation activities.
• Own ICT risk management framework including risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Drive DORA compliance and digital operational resilience initiatives.
• Oversee ICT incident management, resilience testing and disaster recovery exercises.
• Manage third‑party technology risks and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and Group Technology.
• Lead and develop the local technology team with strong governance culture.
