Gaming1 seeks a Head of Developer Platform to lead the Platform Engineering organisation. You will own and evolve the internal developer platform used by Gaming1 engineers to build, ship, and run software with a strong focus on reliability, speed, and self-service capabilities.

Reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering, you will shape strategy, lead three teams through managers, and partner with product and architecture leaders to deliver value-driven outcomes for internal developers and

Experience leading engineers through managers and multiple teams.
Proven track record evolving an internal developer platform and tooling.
Strong software engineering and architecture background.
History of growing teams and hiring engineering managers.
Focus on reliability as a core engineering principle.
Ability to align strategy with execution and priorities.
Product mindset applied to internal platforms and developer experience.

Responsabilités

Lead three platform-oriented teams: Developer Experience, Channel, and Reliability Operations.
Develop Engineering Managers and ensure clarity, maturity, ownership and accountability.
Shape the Internal Developer Platform as an internal product with measurable outcomes.
Drive evolution of tooling, templates, CI/CD and self-service workflows.
Oversee frontend platform, design system and SDKs used by product teams.
Strengthen observability and SRE practices with incident response and dependability.
Collaborate with infrastructure leadership and platform product management.
Translate vision into strategy and execution roadmap.
Foster transparent communication and adoption of new practices and AI.
