Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a strategic Head of Finance - R&D based in Belgium to oversee the financial infrastructure across international technology businesses. You will design banking networks, manage liquidity across currencies, and lead treasury teams while collaborating with founders and senior leaders to shape financial strategy and optimize cross-border flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as CFO/VP Finance or Head of Treasury in fast-growing tech businesses.
• Proven track record opening corporate bank accounts and building efficient payment processes.
• Deep knowledge of AML/KYC and cross-border regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing multi-currency funds, FX exposure, and cost optimization.
• Strong negotiation skills with banks, lawyers, and financial providers.
• Autonomous leader able to drive initiatives in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of financial infrastructure and treasury operations.
• Build multi-jurisdictional banking networks and partner with banks/EMIs/PSPs.
• Oversee liquidity management across multiple entities and currencies.
• Monitor FX spreads, banking fees, and optimize transaction costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and KYC across jurisdictions.
• Recruit and lead the treasury and operations finance team.
• Partner with founders on unit economics, ROI modelling, and financial strategy.
