Editx is looking for a Head of DevOps to lead the strategy across cloud and on-prem environments. This role involves managing the operations of highly available Linux-based infrastructures and championing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Ansible.

As the head, you will drive continuous improvement in DevOps culture, collaborate with security and engineering teams, and ensure scalable and secure infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading DevOps teams and strategic initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments and Linux infrastructures.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices.

Head of DevOps - Role

• Lead the DevOps function, defining and driving strategy across cloud and on‑prem environments
• Oversee design, deployment, and operations of highly available Linux‑based hybrid infrastructures
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps practices
• Manage AWS/Azure/GCP platforms alongside on‑prem datacenter infrastructure
• Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and strong observability (monitoring, logging, incident response)
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and IT to align infrastructure with business needs
• Drive continuous improvement, DevOps culture, and operational maturity across teams
• Lead decisions on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration strategies
