Job summary

Moody’s Corporation is seeking a senior leader to drive governance, quality controls, and stewardship of business-entity relationship data across domains. You will define data standards, ownership, and lifecycle rules, working with product, engineering, and clients.

You will design end-to-end data quality architecture, implement detection and remediation workflows, and mentor a team of data stewards while communicating impact and risk to senior leadership in a fast-moving risk analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data management or related field required or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, stewardship, and data quality practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional data initiatives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, quality controls, and stewardship of business-entity relationship data.
• Partner with customers and product teams to translate evidence into governed requirements.
• Define data quality rules, thresholds, and acceptance criteria with testable requirements.
• Design end-to-end data quality controls architecture across ETL and data pipelines.
• Define remediation paths and lead root-cause analysis for recurring errors.
• Transition controls into business-as-usual operations with SLAs and training.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of data stewards; communicate impact to leadership.
