Job summary

Moody's Analytics is seeking a seasoned Data Governance leader to oversee governance, data quality, and stewardship of business-entity relationship data. You will drive policy, standards, and lifecycle management across domains, collaborating with product, sales, and client service teams to translate customer evidence into governed requirements and investment priorities.

Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent professional experience.
Advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead governance, quality controls, and stewardship of business-entity relationship data from requirements to production use.
Chair domain governance forums to resolve cross-functional data decisions.
Define data quality rules, thresholds, and acceptance criteria; provide testable requirements to engineering.
Design end-to-end data quality controls architecture across ETL and data pipelines; establish detective and preventive points.
Define remediation paths and perform root-cause analysis to drive durable preventive actions.
Transition controls architecture into business-as-usual operations with SLAs and training.
Manage, coach and develop a team of data stewards; communicate performance and risk to leadership.
