Schelstraete Delacourt is seeking an FP&A & Controlling Manager for an international FMCG player. You will act as a key financial business partner to the regional leadership team and lead a small finance team to drive performance across Europe.

Reporting to the Finance Director EMEA, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, scenario analyses, and business cases, translate data into insights, and support strategic growth with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of FP&A, controlling, or corporate finance experience.
• Experience in international and growth-oriented environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and business case development track record.
• People management experience is a strong asset.
• Experience in FMCG preferred; exposure to manufacturing or supply chain is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities with solid business acumen.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge decisions constructively.

Responsabilités

The Role

As FP&A & Controlling Manager, you will act as the key financial business partner to the regional leadership team and play a central role in driving financial performance across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director EMEA, you will combine strategic financial planning with hands‑on business controlling responsibilities. You will lead a small team of finance professionals and support management in making data‑driven decisions that contribute to sustainable growth and profitability.

The role goes beyond traditional reporting and offers significant exposure to strategic initiatives, business cases, performance management, and growth projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare long‑term financial plans and business forecasts.
• Evaluate investments, growth initiatives, and business opportunities through robust business cases.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value creation levers to support business growth.

Business Controlling

• Analyze financial and operational performance across the organization.
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
• Explain variances versus budget and forecast and propose corrective actions.
• Support management with clear recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.

Reporting & Performance Management

• Oversee management reporting and financial performance reviews.
• Consolidate and analyze business results across different markets and functions.
• Support executive leadership with financial presentations and board reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Act as a trusted sparring partner to the CFO and senior management.
• Collaborate closely with commercial, operational, and supply chain teams.
• Foster a data‑driven culture and strengthen financial awareness throughout the organization.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimal 5 years of relevant experience within FP&A, controlling, or corporate finance.
• Experience in an international and growth‑oriented environment.
• Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and business case development.
• Previous people management experience is considered a strong asset.
• Experience within FMCG is highly preferred; exposure to manufacturing or supply chain environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent business acumen.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge business decisions constructively.
