Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Design Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to lead design and development of machines, assemblies and components. You will drive concepts through detailed engineering and production, creating 3D models and drawings, selecting materials, and ensuring designs meet manufacturing and quality needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience with 3D CAD and technical drawing.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
• Practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and machine systems.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings.
• Translate technical requirements and concepts into practical mechanical designs.
• Select appropriate materials, components and manufacturing methods.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and assess mechanical performance where required.
• Improve existing designs to enhance functionality, reliability, manufacturability or cost.
• Work closely with production, engineering and other internal teams during development and implementation.
• Support the transition of designs into production and resolve design-related issues.
• Communicate with suppliers and support the sourcing and development of mechanical components.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and design records.
