Dataroots is seeking an AI Engineering Team Lead to stay hands-on while guiding a team of AI engineers on client projects. You’ll design, build and deploy AI solutions ranging from ML to GenAI, applying MLOps and LLMOps practices.

You’ll mentor colleagues, contribute to hiring, and shape the direction of our AI practice within the Talan Group, with opportunities for international exposure and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI solutions in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and SQL.
• Experience building production-ready ML and Generative AI systems.
• Solid understanding of GenAI, retrieval systems, Agentic AI, MLOps and LLMOps.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong communication skills with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
