Speos is seeking a Software Engineer (Java, TypeScript, AWS) to analyze and develop client and administrative solutions. You will review code, participate in improving development processes, and provide second-level support while adhering to procedures.

The role involves coaching teams and creating both functional and technical documentation. You will work in a diverse team within a Belgian company that values innovation, collaboration, and ongoing learning, with a focus on modern software

Qualifications

• Backend development with Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript.
• Front-end experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with API design, microservices, and message queues (SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MariaDB, MongoDB).
• Cloud and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker).
• Familiar with SDLC and DevOps; Agile environment.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.

• Test and deploy solutions based on predefined procedures and acceptance criteria.

As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze, develop, test, maintain, correct, and write support documents for Speos' client and administrative solutions.

Profile

• Backend development experience with a typed language such as Java (Spring Boot), TypeScript.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React or Angular).
• Familiarity with API design, microservices, and message-driven architectures (SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
• Experience working with databases (SQL & NoSQL, e.g., MariaDB, MongoDB).
• Understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps methodologies.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
• Mindset & Soft Skills
