ENGIE Belgium in Brussels is seeking a Market Risk Green Power (F/M/X) to support management and monitoring of market risks for renewable generation assets, PPAs and Battery Energy Storage Systems across Central Western Europe.

You will define risk mandates, challenge hedging strategies, assess risk of complex transactions, and contribute to risk tools and reporting while collaborating with Front Office and the Renewable Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of experience in energy, finance, risk management or data analytics.
• Knowledge of energy markets and renewable generation, battery storage and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Define, monitor and maintain risk mandates and market risk limits for Green Power and BESS activities across Central Western Europe, including Poland.
• Challenge hedging and risk management strategies proposed by Front Office teams to balance risk and return.
• Assess the risk profile and profitability of complex transactions requiring governance approval.
• Support ENGIE's Renewable Business Unit in monitoring and calibrating market risk frameworks across European markets.
• Contribute to development, automation and continuous improvement of market risk tools, reporting solutions and analytical processes.
