ENGIE Belgium is seeking a Regulation & Market Design Advisor Power in Brussels. You will monitor European electricity regulation, advise internal teams, and develop ENGIE positions on regulatory topics to influence market design and policy across the S&EM energy management portfolio.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and proactive collaboration with internal teams and external regulators.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Several years’ experience in the energy sector, ideally electricity wholesale markets.
In-depth understanding of European electricity markets and power systems.
Ability to explain regulatory topics to different audiences.

Responsabilités

Monitor European regulatory initiatives in electricity and their national implementation.
Analyze changes to the regulatory framework and assess impact on S&EM activities.
Inform and advise internal teams on regulatory evolutions and business implications.
Build, write and communicate S&EM positions on key regulatory topics with internal governance.
Advocate ENGIE’s interests toward external stakeholders like TSOs, NRAs and market actors.
Contribute to discussions on electricity market functioning and broader market design topics.
Cooperate with other regulatory teams across ENGIE and maintain collaboration.
