SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a GTB Junior Sales in Belgium to support senior sales, act as the main day-to-day entry point for commercial topics, and drive client meetings and proposals. The role includes preparing credit files, participating in RFPs, and analyzing profitability with cross-functional teams.

You will maintain data quality, assist in client portfolio reviews and price reviews, and coordinate onboarding for strategic GTB clients, ensuring alignment with risk

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in English (C1) and French (C1); Dutch is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GTB products and client servicing.

Responsabilités

• Support senior sales on commercial activities and client meetings.
• Act as day-to-day GTB client entry point for commercial topics.
• Prepare pitches, credit files and respond to client inquiries.
• Collaborate on RFP analysis, pricing reviews and client profitability.
• Maintain data quality (IC reports, pipeline valuation, client structures).
• Coordinate onboarding and run complex GTB client processes with CSU.
• Ensure compliance with Risk Appetite and country/sector limits.

ResponsibilitiesTasks and responsibilities:Within the GTB framework, the GTB Junior Sales contributes to the delivery of the global financial trajectory:Supporting senior sales (either GTB or specialist) on commercial activitiesBeing the day-to-day GTB client entry point for all commercial topicsHaving direct client commercial objectivesSupports Senior Sales on commercial activity development: pitch preparation, client meetings, credit file preparation, local RFP analysis and answer, business feasibility analysis, follow-up actionsIdentifies, from his/her interaction with the client, sales potential and directly manage simple client business upside requestEnsures data quality of commercial activity (IC report, pipeline valuation, client structure, GAP, etc.)Prepares, in collaboration with other Sales team and Client Service, local portfolio review (including client commercial action plan) / annual GTPS relationship reviews / business co. preparation / annual price reviewsBe proactive in the local deployment of specific commercial campaign and BLs pushesRealize specific commercial analysis (client profitability, client product equipment, etc.) – in collaboration with other desk’s actors (eg. Clients Service Unit review)Ensures and oversees timely response of client inquiriesFor some - directly manages his/ her portfolio of clients (small MNC / small Low Touch clients – IG with no credit delegation), build and deliver the GTB commercial plan for his/her portfolio of clientsDay-to-day GTB client entry point for Front-End related matters (commercial, credit or equipment) and client request transfer to Client Service Unit (CSU) for non-commercial topics potentially raised by client to salesHandles credit documentation and keeps related systems up-to-date or asks support teams (Middle Office/European Middle Office)Follows-up on contract negotiationIn coordination with Client Service Unit:Coordinate the onboarding and run of most complex & strategic GTB clients (excluding incidents management)Support local booking operationsEnsures Risk appetite framework is complied with on his/her scope, including the contribution of the desk to the respect of GTPS Risk appetite statement notably country limits and sectorial limitsThe GTB Junior Sales reports to the Head of GTPS in BelgiumProfile requiredStudies & experience:Graduate in a Master DegreeExperience in Global Transaction BankingLanguage skills:French:C1English; C1Other foreign language skills like Dutch would be an assetTechnical, operational & Soft skills:Good knowledge of one or more GTB products for corporates (PCM, TRA, SGF)Highly proficient with Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skillsPro-active team playerHas the capacity to understand clients’ needs and the related commercial and operational implications, addressing to other desk’s colleagues specific or more complex requests (commercial and non-commercial)Good listening skills and capacity to understand clients needs / identify business opportunitiesGood interpersonal and client relationship skillsCommercial and performance driveEthics and risk cultureResults orientedPrecision, accuracyWhy join usSociété Générale is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
