Société Générale Brussels is seeking a junior professional to join the Coverage team and work with senior bankers servicing Belgium's leading corporates, entrepreneurial groups and financial sponsors. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Management.
• Entry-level grade may be analyst or associate based on experience.
• Fluency in English and French; Dutch is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical mindset with Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Interest in corporate finance, capital markets, lending products and relationship management.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Coverage Bankers who manage relationships with CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers of Belgian clients.
• Participate in live financing mandates and strategic projects with product specialists.
• Monitor portfolio profitability and drive data-informed decision making.
• Contribute to sustainable finance discussions and client transitions to sustainable models.
• Prepare high-impact client presentations and briefing materials for senior management.
• Develop sector expertise and provide strategic insights through financial analysis.
• Participate in client onboarding and periodic portfolio reviews.
• Improve client data quality and CRM/reporting tools.
• Support transversal projects related to business development and sustainability.

ResponsibilitiesMission:

Join Société Générale Brussels and work alongside senior bankers covering some of Belgium's most prominent corporates, entrepreneurial groups and financial sponsors. Acting as a strategic partner to the Coverage team, you will gain first-hand exposure to financing transactions, client relationship management and corporate advisory topics while leveraging the full power of Société Générale's international network. Tasks and responsibilities:

• Partner with Coverage Bankers who manage relationships with CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers of leading Belgian corporate and international clients
• Participate in live financing mandates and strategic projects alongside product specialists and senior coverage professionals
• Monitor portfolio profitability, business performance indicators and commercial activity, helping to drive data-informed decision making
• Contribute to discussions around sustainable finance and support clients in their transition towards more resilient and sustainable business models
• Prepare high-impact client presentations, commercial pitches, strategic reviews and briefing materials for senior management meetings
• Develop sector expertise and provide strategic insights through financial analysis, market intelligence and client research
• Participate in client onboarding processes and periodic portfolio reviews
• Enhance the quality of client data and contribute to the continuous improvement of CRM and reporting tools
• Support transversal projects related to business development, sustainability, innovation and the bank's strategic priorities

Profile required

Studies & experience: Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Management

Past experiences will be taken into account to assess the entry-level grade (analyst vs associate)

Language skills:

Fluency in English & French is required

Dutch would be a strong asset

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly understand financial, strategic and business situations
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to transform complex information into clear and impactful messages
• Demonstrated curiosity through academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, entrepreneurship, international exposure or personal initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with multiple stakeholders with professionalism and confidence
• Interest in corporate finance, capital markets, lending products and relationship management
• Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
