Volvo Trucks is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge sales, engineering, production and product development, translating customer needs into technically feasible truck solutions.

You will design customized solutions, run feasibility studies and cost quotes, and partner with engineering, production sites, and bodybuilders to deliver value across global markets. Strong communication and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong interest in automotive technology and customer solutions.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (French, German, or Dutch) are a plus.
• Genuine desire to make customers successful.

Responsabilités

• Support sales organizations with technical expertise across Volvo Trucks product portfolio.
• Design customized truck solutions that meet specific customer and operational requirements.
• Perform feasibility studies, technical investigations, and cost quotations.
• Drive customer adaptation solutions in collaboration with engineering, product development, production sites, and bodybuilders.
• Ensure proposed solutions are compliant, feasible, profitable, and aligned with Volvo Trucks standards.
• Contribute to concept development that reduces lead times and increases flexibility.
• Capture market trends and customer insights and translate them into recommendations for future product development.
