Alcon, a global leader in eye care, seeks a Supply Chain Order Management Specialist for the Bornem Distribution Center. You will support the Supply Chain Planning team and manage the global in- and outbound flow of products, ensuring fair-share allocation to over 100 countries.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with partners to resolve fulfillment challenges, deploying products, preventing obsolete stock, and optimizing transport and lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; field not specified.
• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics or related operations.
• Proficient in Excel and SAP; strong data analysis skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborating with internal and external partners to solve complex fulfillment and allocation challenges.
• Managing the daily deployment of released products, monitoring aging inventory, and preventing obsolete stock.
• Creating push orders for affiliates based on forecasts, inventory levels, in-transit goods, lead times, and storage capacity.
• Setting priorities for QA, Warehouse, and Export teams to mitigate stockouts and backorders.
• Optimizing transportation modes and container utilization by combining incoming products from multiple suppliers.
