Alcon is seeking a Supply Chain Order Management Specialist to support the global in‑and outbound flow of products and fair‑share allocation to more than 100 countries from the Bornem Distribution Center. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize fulfillment and allocation across the supply chain.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, experience in supply chain or logistics, strong Excel and SAP skills, and fluent English with good Dutch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; no specific field required.
• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or a related operational environment.
• Strong technical skills: Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and SAP experience.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal); good understanding of Dutch is required; speaking/writing is a strong plus.
• Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Collaborating with internal and external partners to solve complex fulfillment and allocation challenges.
• Managing daily deployment of released products, monitoring aging inventory, and preventing obsolete stock.
• Creating push orders for affiliates based on forecasts, inventory levels, in-transit goods, lead times, and storage capacity.
• Setting priorities for QA, Warehouse, and Export teams to mitigate stockouts and backorders.
• Optimizing transportation modes and container utilization by combining incoming products from multiple suppliers.
