Job summary

Ascom seeks a strategic Head of Mobility Product Management to steer the global Mobility portfolio, shaping value with R&D, Sales, Marketing and regional teams. You will translate customer needs into innovative products and drive profitable growth across healthcare and frontline environments.

The role combines strategic thinking, customer engagement, and commercial accountability with leadership of a high-performing product team, spanning hardware, software and services.

Qualifications

• Senior product leadership experience within a technology-driven organisation.
• Strong track record of defining product strategy and translating it into measurable business outcomes.
• Experience managing complex portfolios across hardware, software and services.
• Strong commercial and financial judgement, including business case development and investment prioritisation.
• Experience in roadmap governance, product lifecycle management and portfolio decision-making.
• The ability to work closely with engineering, commercial and customer-facing teams.
• Clear, credible communication and the ability to influence in a global matrix organisation.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing product management teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the portfolio strategy for Mobility.
• Own the global Mobility roadmap and prioritisation process.
• Balance innovation with customer requirements, cybersecurity and lifecycle needs.
• Develop business cases and guide pricing, packaging and migrations.
• Represent customers in market intelligence and feedback loops.
• Lead product definition, discovery and validation activities.
• Manage lifecycle strategies and portfolio simplification efforts.
• Build and develop product management teams across Mobility.
